About Margaux

Margaux is a balanced dog trainer currently located in Boston, MA. After working in the pet industry for over 7 years, she decided to start shadowing trainers to get better hands-on experience related to behavior modification training and also started volunteering for rescues, as well as doggy daycares. She shadowed trainers for a little over a year while also working with the International Association for Canine Professionals and the Last Hope K9 Rescue. She dedicated most of her time training her own 5yo Husky/Pitbull mix rescue and is now competing in scentwork (AKC & NACSW), Happy Ratters & GRC with him. She has completed a Karen Pryor course, multiple FDSA courses as well as Leerburg University courses. Margaux applies knowledge she learned from some of her favorite trainers (Jay Jack, Ivan Balabanov, Denise Fenzi, Michael Ellis, Chad Mackin, Forrest Micke) throughout her training, as well as dog sport skills.  She is passionate about the science behind behavior modification training, as well as biological fulfillment, nutrition, and establishing better ways of communication for humans and dogs.
